For Encinitas obstetrician Nikolas Capetanakis, a family outing or birthday party can quickly turn into a workday if one of his patients goes into labor in his off hours.

It happens so often that Capetanakis takes his scrubs and pager everywhere: even the beach. His commitment to attend each birth makes for an erratic schedule for his family, but a smooth childbirth experience for his patients.

Office Hours

Although office hours may vary, Dr. Capetanakis sees patients in the office on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you call the office outside of office hours, you will reach the voicemail. Please leave a detailed message; as we are diligent, and do our best to return all phone calls by the next business day, if not the same day.
